Road to Valhalla
Road to Valhalla is a hallmark event for Geneva Softball Association that highlights the lore of Vikings and Valkyries that is historical to the Geneva community as well as paying homage to the start of the Spring softball season as players embark on their own journey toward softball glory.
Ages
10U - Birthdates 9/1/2014 or later
11U/12U - Birthdates 9/1/2012 or later
13U/14U - Birthdates 9/1/2010 or later
When
Pool Play begins Friday night April 17 for some teams and continues across Saturday April 18 by early evening.
Bracket Play begins 9AM Sunday morning April 19.
Where
All games for each age level will be played at Peck Farm Park Fields 1, 2, and 3.
*Should inclement weather impact any of the 3 dates, GSA will make every effort to utilize additional fields in Geneva to complete as many games as possible.*
Festivities
Our partner sponsor, Midwest Waste Consultants, is planning food trucks for Saturday as well as providing MVP medals for pool play and trophies for winning teams at all levels.
Games
This tournament is a 4 game guarantee with 3 pool play games and single elimination bracket play. Format will be 75 minute finish the inning.
Apparel
GSA is working with a local business to provide an order link for all participants to be able to pre-order Road to Valhalla shirts and sweatshirts. Additional tournament merchandise will be sold on gamedays.

Road to Valhalla 2026
Welcome to the inaugural GSA spring kickoff softball tournament at Peck Farm Park. This tournament includes 10U, 12U, and 14U pool play and single elimination bracket play with games beginning on Friday April 17. The tournament will include 6 teams at each age level with a 75 minute finish the inning format. As all teams are opening up their Spring season, the format also includes continuous batting order through bracket play.
